I grew up riding motorcycles...starting on dirt bikes and progressing to cruisers. After about a 15 year hiatus, I decided to get back into biking. My first sportbike was a 2004 Hayabusa. I met up with some track enthusiast and was introduced to track riding. I tried the busa on the track and that was the only time it saw the track. Found a good deal on a 600cc track bike and have been loving and enjoying it for quite a while. We formed the Southern Track Day organization so that we could introduce new riders to the track as well as their new addiction. All it takes is a willingness to learn and have fun.

So many people have never done a track day—for a variety of reasons. We aim to change that and are dedicated to informing people about the benefits of track days. We encourage people of all ages and riding levels to attend a track day. Whether it is your 1st time or 100th time participating in a track day event. We invite you to join in the fun!
Jimmy Anuszewski
Jimmy has been into speed since he was a little kid riding his Haro Sport around the neighborhood. Fast forward a couple of decades and his first motorcycle venture on a track finally took place. Ever since then, he's been hooked. Acting as the web administrator, Jimmy honestly doesn't know what he's doing if it wasn't printed in the "Web for Dummies" book. So if you have a question, definitely shoot him an email, but who knows if he'll give you the right answer.

Got my first bike in 2007 and started track days later that year. Been hooked on track riding ever since. I've had a blast learning to go fast and hanging with the great peeps of Southern Track Days. Started racing CCS in 2011 to quench my need for speed.

I have been riding street bike since I was 14 and started raced for CCS series in 1999 and 2000 on a Yamaha RZ350. I started doing trackdays again about 4 years ago and have been control riding for about 2. I currently ride and race 2004 YAMAHA R1. I enjoy helping people improve in there riding skills and confidence with a family group like FSB.

I started riding dirt bikes back in the days when races were held in Carlsbad, CA and having Bob Hurricane Hannah as my idol. Keeping on two wheels, I began racing Downhill Mountain Bike Amateur Series in Southern Cal. But feeling the need for more speed, jumped on a sport bike in 2005, took the MSF course and was hooked. In 2007 my husband was killed riding his sport bike in the canyons of CA. That should have kept me off of a bike but instead, did my first track day 3 months after. When most thought I was crazy, I took it as a chance to learn and educate others. Riding had been my passion, why would I stop….. my focus was now to be a better rider and get other riders to the track! I have had opportunities that have allowed me to ride at Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow, Willow Springs, California Speedway, Pahrump, Las Vegas, Carolina, Jennings, Virginia (VIR), NOLA, New Jersey, Summit Point, Homestead and Palm Beach. In 2013 I went even further and obtained my CCS License and did a few races! Wasn’t looking to podium, but just to show others anything is possible when you set your mind to it. How many other grandma’s do you know that race? My motto: Remember no matter how slow you go, you are still lapping those on the couch!

I have been riding sport bikes for 20 years. I did my first trackday 4 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I love teaching and helping others learn and can't see doing it with a better group than this one. The laughs and friendships made at a trackday truly are some of the best.

My father had bikes as far back as I can remember. His passion for riding and for the sport of racing was passed on to me. I rode dirt bikes when I was young and started riding on the street in 2002. My first time on the racetrack was a terrible experience, with no instruction or guidance riding on an "open" trackday. A friend introduced me to this group and convinced me to try the track again because the private instruction would make all the difference. He was so right! Improving my skill on the track made me such a better rider on the street. I trust this group of instructors and control riders so much that I put my son on the track with them at age 17. If you want to be a skilled and confident rider on the street, I am convinced you must learn and experience with a group like this FIRST!

Hello! I started my riding career on the street with not a clue about motorcycles, I just knew I wanted one and I wanted to go fast. Shortly after I started riding I moved to Florida, joined the motorcycle club at my college, and found myself riding almost every day. I loved it and the comradery and quickly became a club officer, including President. They were fantastic years but also times of sadness as we lost riders during my time there. About halfway through college I started doing track days and like so many I was hooked. It’s an amazing feeling pushing yourself and the motorcycle and doing things you aren’t able to while dodging traffic and curbs. I organized a track day for the club riders and I’m proud to say they have continued to send riders to track days. I started control riding in 2018 and I am so excited to pass my experiences and knowledge on to other riders. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions, we are here to help!

I’ve been riding sport bikes for almost 20 years. I did my first trackday in 2007 at Jennings GP with the Southern Trackdays group and have been hooked ever since. It’s the best place to learn and grow as a rider. I’ve recently joined the Control Riders group and I am really enjoying the teaching aspect of the Trackdays. There is nothing like working with someone when something things finally start to click. Getting others hooked on the Trackday experience.
